Xenon Gas Applications

Xenon gas (pronounced /ze-non) is a colorless, heavy, odorless noble/rare gas that occurs in the Earth's atmosphere in trace amounts and has been found in gases emitted from some mineral springs. The chemical element Xenon has the symbol Xe and apears on the period table of elements with the atomic number 54. Xenon is obtained commercially as a byproduct of the separation of air into oxygen and nitrogen, followed by distillation.
