Krypton
is used in the lighting industry to manufacture fluorescent
lights, halogen headlights and in some photographic flashes,
as well as in certain types of lasers. Krypton is also used
as an insulator/filler gas in high efficiency, low E, multiple
pane windows to increase the R value and reduce noise. Krypton
is in the family or Rare
Gases (also called Noble or Inert Gases) which includes
Neon,
Xenon,
Argon
and Helium
and is present in the air in low concentrations.
